Rehart
Watercolor painting from rehab
In 2021, I had a snowboarding accident that landed me in a rehabilitation clinic for two months – and temporarily in a wheelchair. During this time, I not only learned to walk again but also discovered watercolor painting. Since no visitors were allowed due to Covid, I had a lot of time to myself. Watercolor painting became an important companion – it helped me fill my days meaningfully alongside my physiotherapy sessions and gave me something to focus on. It was an intense but also very exciting time. The "Rehart" series emerged from this experience.
