I was given the opportunity to curate the murals for the newly designed section of the "Swiss Path"—and also to create a piece myself. The overarching theme was "Cradle of Switzerland," but the artistic interpretation was left entirely to each artist. My contribution depicts an alpine rose with four blossoms—a symbol of the four national languages, of diversity, of sharing heritage, and of our deep connection to the landscape. The alpine rose grows at high altitudes—it represents our relationship to nature, to our roots, and also to our vulnerability.
